Crack Clan and Millenium have both been left wondering what went wrong after being eliminated at the group stages.
The Finnish side knew it would be very hard to stay in the competition after a shock defeat to Unibet as it would have to tackle table-toppers Ledpc.
Ledpc started the better, winning the first half 9-6. Now as CT, the Spaniards never allowed Crack Clan to dream about a comeback, securing their lead to win the match 17-13 and the top spot of the group.
Crack Clan now had to wait for Unibet's match against dRu to know their fate, but unfortunately for them, it was the Valencia-based side that won the match, this way throwing the former r00tz team out of the tournament.
Elsewhere, Millenium, winners of the French EPS league, were sent packing. Following a surprising 15-15 draw to BUSSIFUORI in their opening match, Millenium were crushed by seven 23-7.
Millenium's last match, against TBH.eSports, was decided only in the last rounds, but with the Germans securing their 15th round, they had already earned a spot in the knock-out stage, leaving the Frenchmen in an unfamiliar third position in the group.
